From the country of Ghana in West Africa comes Kenneth Appiah, who is no stranger to the world of Reggae and World music. After a few years living in the United States, he formed a group of young professional Ghanaian musicians in the diaspora who have came to be known as The Yzmen.
Kenneth Appiah and The Yzmen are the first of their kind in the music industry, who have been compared to the likes of Fela Kuti, Youssou N’dour, Bob Marley and Lucky Dube, over dense percussion, melodic guitars, vibrant horns, and captivating afrocentric vocals.
Their primary goal is to win the hearts of people around the world with their beautiful and unique but simple message. Kenneth Appiah and The Yzmen have set out to redeem the beats, rhythms and diverse musical styles of West Africa for the world to hear.
